Ali says the thing that inspires her lately is teaching kids that are gifted and have an eye, and watching kids who think they are horrible and how they use color. She goes on to say she is inspired and amazed by watching the way the colors come together. I, personally, think Ali sees herself in the growing abilities of a child with color and shape, and the resulting work of art. Ali's work demonstrates a freedom of color and materials that goes beyond imagination. She says being Under water also inspires her -- looking up at the surface of the water. Take a look at her work and you'll see what she means.
